Salon Policies
Below are the key policies that help us keep every visit to Argyle Hair Design & Sole Traders smooth, professional, and enjoyable. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
1. Bookings & Deposits
- Online first – All appointments are made through our online booking system or via our official social media links.
- Deposit required – A non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure your spot. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
- 48-hour notice – We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- Late changes – Cancellations or changes inside 48 hours, or failure to attend, incur a no-show fee (your deposit may be forfeited).
3. Waiver Forms & Patch Tests
- Certain colour, chemical, or beauty treatments require a signed waiver and/or patch test or strand test, especially if:
- You have sensitive skin or known allergies
- You are new to colour or chemical services with us
- These safety steps protect your wellbeing and ensure the best possible results.
4. Client Preparation
- Cutting & styling – Please wash your hair within 24 hours of your appointment (unless advised otherwise).
- Colour & lightening – For optimal colour results, wash no more than 2–3 days before your service. Hair unwashed for 4+ days can affect colour absorption.
- If your hair becomes oily quickly, let your stylist know in advance so we can prep accordingly.
5. Refunds & Returns
- Products – All retail sales are final (no returns or exchanges) for hygiene reasons.
- Services – Because our work is personalised, refunds are generally not offered once a service is completed. If you have concerns, please contact your stylist or beautician promptly so we can find a resolution together.
6. Professional Products
- Each sole trader selects high-quality, professional products suited to their services. Many are cruelty-free and/or vegan; please ask your stylist if you have specific requirements.
7. Combined & Specialist Services
- You may book multiple services with different sole traders in one visit (subject to availability). Coordinate timings directly with the professionals involved.
8. Parking & Accessibility
- Convenient parking is available nearby. Check our website or confirm details with your stylist when you book.
